I know once I import my car from the US to Canada, I need to give it Canadian plates.

Do you know if I can drive this Canadian-plated car in the US without issues as a US citizen?

I know Canada won't allow the opposite (a PR to drive a US-plated car in Canada)

You will have no issues since you are now a resident of Canada. I have done it many times.

Citizenship and permanent residence status have nothing to do with this issue. Its actual residency that counts.
