Hi there,

I'm a US citizen and I go to Quebec often because my boyfriend lives there, a Canadian citizen. I am a little confused about the length of time I am permitted to be in Canada each time I visit, or more specifically, I am confused about how to know how long I can stay! Sometimes my passport is stamped, sometimes it is not. So, do I get six months? Three months? I would greatly appreciate some clarification.

You get 6 months unless it says otherwise.

Thank you, thaiguy. And the 6 months is good whether there is a passport stamp or not? I just count from the date I entered, correct?
