Hello Members,

My sister has done MSc in IT AND having 1 yr. of teaching experience. We have calculated the points online with her BCA degree as MSc IT is not listed in the quebec "List of areas of training" and selected "Computer Science Techniques (DCS - 3 years)" under "Administration, Commerce and Information Technology" and she is qualifying under the above category and is eligible to immigrate under quebec permanent worker category.

Just want to confirm if she is eligible with above selected field?

Hi,
     In QSW, anyone can apply irrespective of your profession. But, the issue is do you have enough points? If you post her data like: age, education (with number of years), years of experience, knowledge of french and English languages, relations in Quebec, spouse(if any) etc then people may comment appropriately.

Age= 16
Education=10
Area ot training=she will get 6 points while husband will get 2
experienc=2
language= English= 5
French=6
baby=4
Spouse
Age=3
education=3
Finance=1
    From this calculation, she may be getting 58 points. Others may comment and add or remove something. She's got above the minimum point for a married applicant so she can apply. right now, submitting application with french test result could give her an edge.GoodLuck.
