Dear Board Members...Hi
i am new member on this board and just wanted to know that what happend if some one applied student visa long time ago in 1995 and forget to mention this in his final document submission i.e IMMM8 for immigration purpose after 120 days, does they check my previous history since i was applied under student visa category and visa was not issued due to insufficent fund and student visa category is also not mention in the IMMM8 form. please reply me what should i expect from CHC Isb furthermore i am a principle applicant.

You will have to clearly type a letter with your signature and *File number* explaining how you forgot to mention your previous application for a student visa, If the finds out before you do so, it will complicate your application process. It is advisable to always tell your actual situation and this helps. it will be okay though, just let them know.

I clearly agree with minus360.
Many people come back crying on this forum after being refused for mis-representation and banned from entering canada for at least 2years because of oversight.
Your student visa in 1995 has nothing to do with your permanent residence to canada BUT you must answer all the questions as truthfully and honestly as you could. If the CHC discovers you are hidding any information, you may be refused for misrepresentation. Write a letter with your file number explaining how you forgot to reveal the information. They will not refuse your visa due to this unlike if they find out themselves. This is my opinion, i am not an immigration officer. Good luck
