urgently information needed

Hey there, I'm a mexican come to Canada since 2009 as a visitor permit because that was the only way to leave my country as my situation was getting worse due to life threat as you probably know,Mexico's stability on security matter has been broken and many people died in numbers never seen nor in iraq war, months after i arrived found a job completely different to my background which is Public Accounting.

Some people has mentioned me to apply as self financially refugee but I'm in doubt because i knew that we the mexican aren't allowed to claim such a thing. Now I'm considered as an overstayed person and might be an important issue to return to Canada in future applications.

My wife and son couldn't come with me due to a problem on my kid's birth certificate being impossible to get a passport for him. I have gained sympathy among my workmates and my employer as well.
Unfortunately, I dont think i could be considered as skill worker according to a 29 job list, if I was, maybe i would be in trouble because of my overstayed and wouldn't be allowed to come to canada again that my fear. Do you believe i have any chance to find out something in order to remain in canada?
