URGENT:how to get my passport back

I have applied for a visiting visa and it has been one and a half months since my application.my problem is that i have to travel to the US soon and i need my passport back.I have sent a request to the high commission in islamabad by mail,email and fax but to no avail.It's been 3 weeks since my initial request but so far i have not recieved my passport or any reply.
Can somebody please tell me if there's any other way to contact the high commission?
