Dear seniors, please! my timelines and data are: noc 4131, complete application submitted in june 2010, 2nd aor in august 2010, ecas RBVO, vo london, my country Pakistan. i am pre-june 2010.

Queries:
1. it is now a year since i got my 2nd aor. when do you think my ecas should be changed to IP and should i not write to vo regarding the same?
2. NOW after about 14 plus months of complete application submission to london vo, what are the chances of my job verification?
3.I want to take long leave of about 6 months to a year, to do something else. would that weaken/ affect my case? some consultants say it will weaken my case. what is the fact?
4.My 2nd aor contained the sentence: The processing of your application will be resumed. Does that mean something special? (After getting 1st aor from cio, NS IN FEB, 2010, i submitted my application directly to london vo, not transferred from islamabad).
5. when do you think i should receive my MR?

Thanks and warmest regards,
Ghafoor

Hi ghafoor, pardon me but I fail to understand why you have marked ur thread as urgent

1.) It is taking long time for Applicants from Pakistan whose VO was transferred to London. I believe there is a separate thread tracking the timelines
2.) Job verification is random and most probably depends on your documentation and not time frame that you have been waiting. If your documentation is convincing you may not get a verification call otherwise there are chances
3.)NO your leave, absence, quitting or changing job has no affect on application, provided if you get a verification call your employer can share the details about your job
4.) Not sure
5.) Not Sure

Take a good nap janab, London VO is dealing with apps from Pak and GCC. Current processing time for London VO are 20 months and you will be luck if your app get processed before Sep next year, because VO's might reach to their quotas - not cap recently introduced- by Sep or Oct and this quota will reset in April next year.

2. NOW after about 14 plus months of complete application submission to london vo, what are the chances of my job verification? Prob of job verification is same as 14 months ago, in some cases VO had conducted verification after Med and if I can remember correctly for 2 cases on this forum VO called employers after PPR.

3.I want to take long leave of about 6 months to a year, to do something else. would that weaken/ affect my case? some consultants say it will weaken my case. what is the fact?

Will have no effect

4.My 2nd aor contained the sentence: The processing of your application will be resumed. Does that mean something special? (After getting 1st aor from cio, NS IN FEB, 2010, i submitted my application directly to london vo, not transferred from islamabad).

VO will perform its own check, nothing unusual

5. when do you think i should receive my MR?
No one can give you an estimate but I suspect by next year earliest
Thanks and warmest regards,
Ghafoor

Ghafoor, the delays are long these days. My recommendation is to look at this immigration as long process (Test Match as we call it in Cricket) and not to worry about your case status. About writing to CHC London, is your choice but you would get a standard relpy telling you that you are Q and you need to wait
