Dear All

Please advice me regarding my case.

1) I passed my interview and issued a Quebec Selection Certificate on 11/11/2008. This is was by Damascus, Syria office

2) It is written on line:

In process – 13/01/2009 that is they have started to process my file on this date.

3) I did not hear or receive any feedback since 11/11/2008

4) Can I note that; my file is complete, they did not ask me to do any health check also it is taking so long! what shall I do?

I will appreciate any reply by all members, however, I will look forward to a senior member or a senior immigration expert in cases such as my case.

Thank you for assistant to this matter.

Sam

do u have a representative??? if yes check w/ him to see what's going on
if not check and see if ur mailing address w/ them is correct ( if u did not change it during the process w/out notifying them).
if all that is correct then write them a letter .

good luck

Many thanks for your reply.
Yes I have a representative he keeps saying nothing wrong with your case it is a matter of time and at the end you will be in Canada. It can last for more than two years, although there is a deadline for the CSQ. Am really confused and do not know what to do.

Is it because I did a degree in Pakistan? BUT I submitted a police certificate to them before they start the process of my application.

Any ideas please ?

Thanks.

I dont think it is because of your degree in Pakistan. Have patience my friend, Mine took 6 years. That was the normal timeline then but now they doing it much faster.

No this is too long. I was told, by the consular, in the interview at most 9 months and this is the worst case. Also, the consular said; am not suppose to go that long period because of the strong case that I have.
If it is not because of the degree from Pakistan, is it then because am living in Jordan and lived and worked many countries, I have submitted all the documents from all those countries.

What do you think then? more support please by all members!

did u check the timeline  @  ur visa office???
don't get frustrated things will b ok!

as far as the csq i'll say don't be worried about it bcoz even if it's expired, they won't blame u 4 that ( trust me!!) i am myself a quebec skilled worker too & when i went to interview 4 my csq the io told me that if i submit my doc. 4visa in the csq' time frame & it happens to be expired while the process goes, federal will ask directly quebec to renew it 4them w/out bothering me.

this is a-waiting-game, so just relax & keep ur fingers crossed!

Many thanks for your reply. As I understand it this is what you meant.

Please be patient and have a look to Damascus. Are these for people such as me waiting their visa from the federal government or for new people starting from the beginning?

Thanks for support.
