I'm a PR of canada and staying in windsor area.
I have got a job in Detriot, USA and they will be applying for H1 (it is US workPermit) for me.I will commute every day to detriot.
I'm planning to apply for Nexus card (I qualify for it)
I stayed in US from 2002-2006 on H4 visa.On my new H1, I'm showing experience in IT .During my Canadian PR application (i'm a dependant in the PR application, my hubby is the main applicant), I showed the actual experience .In a nut shell my experience is different in US h1 visa Vs Canadian PR application
Questions:
Will this cause any problems when I apply for Nexsus card? I understand that I have to submit applications both to Canadian and US goverments. Will they cross check or tally? If so, I wont apply for Nexus.
If i dont have Nexus, How bad is the queue at the detriot-windsor tunnel?
As a dependent of the principal applicant your job experience does not make any difference to the H1 application. For nexus they couldn't care less.
