Hi there,  I will be visiting Canada along with my gf in late december and i only have a green card.  I have a china passport but that has expired, and it won't be renew in time.

So my question is will i be able to enter Canada with ONLY A green card and a California driver license. My GF is an american citizen and we will be flying there and landing in Toronto.

We are just afraid we might get refused at the point of entrance.

Thanks

I am no expert but I imagine a green card only states the fact that you are a legal resident of America and a California driver license only states that you are able to drive a car legally.

A passport is required for travelling, because this is your identity in other words "who you are, where you came from, where you were born etc". A green card nor a drivers license is a replacement for a travel document.
