received request from Buffalo to send passports by 30th Sept 08. I applied for US visa; visa was approved but additional administrative work my take upto 2 months before US visa is stapmed on my passport. What are my options? I am feeling very frustrated as I cannot even think of loosing Canadian immigration after coming so close. I would highly appreciate your help.

write them back and explain that your passport is currently being processed by another embassy and you are working hard to get it back. Note however that your time to landing is counting. or you could tell the americans to tell you when you will get your pp back due to emergency reasons. goodluck
