I applied back in 2007 (old regime). I got my AOR letter in 2009 and my case has been 'in process' ever since. From 2007 till now many things changed in my life: for example, I have two children now, a girl aged 2.5 years and a boy aged 2 weeks! Last week, I got a letter from the Canadian Embassy IN Paris asking me to update  my documents...I have no problem getting all the necessary papers except for ONE IMPORTANT THING: MONEY or a bank statement that shows I have at least 20,599 CAD (required for a family of 4 members). I don't have the amount now and I can't get it together until next June but the letter from the embassy states clearly that I have to send them the documents including the bank statement within 90 days, so my question is the following: Is there any possible way I can delay sending the documents to next June, and would that be still acceptable by the Embassy officer?
It is really a pity I'll be rejected after all these years of waiting and agony! Please help...
THANK YOU ALL...GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER

Dear Samsung, After waiting so long you got a good chance from visa office which is a green signal for you PR application process. There is no exemption or chance for extending the their date. You have to follow what the visa office requested. Therefore, it is my suggestion that you should take the matter seriously and submit all the updated documents together with the latest bank statement. Anyhow you should  arrange the money to show the required balance in your account. Otherwise there could be a negative action on your file.

well said... Cheesy

Samsong: Don't have a false hope of ways in delaying your submission, I don't think it's attainable. You should be thankful that CIC responded which should mean a very positive development on your application (it's moving!  Cheesy). You are the only one who can find ways to solve your bank statement problem. I'm praying that you could make it through.  Grin

Happy New Year!
