Hi

I completed my one year certificate and now i have one year Post graduate work permit and i got full time permanent job.
so my question is ;

1: Can i apply for PR rite the way?
2: As now i have only 7 months left for my post graduate work permit visa and if i
apply now for my PR it will take around 18 to 20 months so in this case can i extend my visa and what are chances to get work permit extension and what sort of documents needed for extension of work permit.

I will be very much thankful for you if anyone guide me because rite now i am in big trouble should i join the organization or not ?

Sorry but you have following options

1. if you qualify under Federal Skilled Worker Class, if then not yet
2. if your course was for one year and they have given you a year already than no

you need to go through LMO route mean arrange employment.

Your employers has to apply for LMO on your behalf mean approved from HRDC.
if your occupation is not in Ministerial instructed 29 professions then you can't apply under FSW-1.

So, if you need LMO then speak with your employer, you don't qualify for CEC yet. Therefore, its a tough decision to make.

Hi Aliazad,

From what I understand from your post, the following things can be done-

1. As you have FT Perm Job with PGWP, you can apply for PR under FSW2 Arranged Employment. Just check about the job/role if it is in Skill Level 0, A, or B. If it is not among 0, A, or B, then you are not eligible.
2. What you would need to apply under FSW2
    a. A formal job offer with role, job duties, wage, location from your employer on the letterhead (you would need to attach this letter in original with your application)
    b. Another letter from the employer (on letterhead) stating that they would be employing you during and after PR is granted to you. Ask your employer to put your full name, date of birth, passport number and address on the letter.
    c. While filling the forms, do mention all your work experience, including your IT exp with correct NOC
3. About PGWP extension, CIC does not extend in normal circumstances the PGWP. But you may always apply, it may cost you $150 or $175, and you need to apply minimum of 30days in advance or expiry of your current permit
4. If your PGWP is about to expire, you have the option for applying Temp Work Permit, and pay the relevant fee.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Shiv
