URGENT PLEASE REPLY. Dependent Child Sponsoring Query

Hi, i need some help..

I was a refugee in Canada but now my asylum has been approved and my lawyer has advised me to apply for the entire family along with my application for permanent resident.

I'm concerned about my son's status as a dependent child.
His date of birth is 22 November 1988.

In June 2006 he completed his GCSE O Level and should have completed his GCSE A Level in 2008 but he completed it in Nov 2010 but for all this time he was a full time student. Now he is studying in a post secondary educational institution. My concern here is will he be considered as a dependent child? And in the back ground declaration form what should i write in the section "Type of certificate of Diploma issued" for the year of 2008, because he did appear in the exam but was not issued any certificate.

As long as he remains single, a full time student and financially dependent on his parents, he is a dependent child but he must still meet those requirements at the time he lands as a PR.
