I applied in April' 2004 for skill immigration in Canada at CIC Singapore. My Medical  has been completed, paid landing fees, submitted Police clearance & proof of fund in November'2007. I have submitted my passport for visa stamping in my local Canadian embassy at the end of December' 2007. They told me to wait 6 weeks and after that they will contact me. Now suddenly  my online application status has been changed as follows:-

Permanent Residence Application Status: Decision Made

* We started processing your application on April 21, 2004.

* Medical results have been received.

* A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

What does it mean? Am I refused or they issue me the visa. Need Interpretation.

In all likelihood it means your application was approved.

dont be penic its mean your application is approved , in immigration to Canada Medical is last stage where if you pass it its mean its complete so they have to prepear your landing papers along with stamp of visa so its normal if they asked 6 weeks in some countries they asked 2 weeks depend on how may applicants are in queue

raquibw,

How is it going? Have you received notification from the CIC about their decision following medical tests?  I don't mean to make you panic, but for me, the online information does not actually say approval has been made. Referring to the CIC' main processing stages, i.e. medical, I think they are referring to the decision made for requirements AND review of your medical results.

Keep the hopes up.  You are one of the luckiest to be having a further step closer to be receiving visa stamped on your passport!

Cheers!
