I and my wife jointly maintaining a bank account having balance equivalent to C$ 14000. Is this joint account's balance is ok as proof of fund or I alone have to show C$ 14000 in my name not in the joint account. My wife is accompanying me to Canada as spouse. Please advise me. I applied in Singapore at April'2004 and they have asked for proof of fund. Medical completed.

A couple (Husband and Wife) may maintaine a bank account as joint signatories so such an account may be acceptable as Funds proof.
