This is my First post... I need your help...
Is there Anyone who can tell me what is the interpretation of this Status it shows "In Process" with following details...??

We received your application for permanent residence on March 29, 2010.
 
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on May 29, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
 
Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.
 
We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on JUNE,2 2010. The New Delhi office may contact you.

Generally they say like this, "Your application has been transferred to New Delhi VO on date XYZ, Your application has been reviewed and we started processing on date XYZ."

But after seeing your detailed status, it seems they may contact you for further particular supporting documents or they may take your telephonic interview.

So be prepared for that. Good luck.

do write ur time line, one more thing.

they are reviewing ur docs meaning a lengthy process which includes many checks like background, criminal, work exp, edu etc.


but let me tell u, be prepared for the telephonic interview they may call ur employer or u in person. so be ready for dat.

well,Let me tell you more something about me..
I was an International Student  @  canada..
I went there... I studied for 10 months & due to some family problem i went back to india..
Now, I am living here in india since like more than 1 yr.. does this will affect on my case ??
Oh My GOD I filled my canadian telephone number in my application form....

Bit Scared.... ((((

They may contact you for this thing. Because they initially ask in the application forms that have you ever been to Canada.

They might ask some questions regarding this because you said that you had quit your studies there due to some reasons.

wondering if the processing has started on my application. It will be 14 months this week since all the documents sent to NDVO
