Good morning,

VO is asking me an IMM8, Schedule 3. As you know, I have to state my funds there. I have my funds in US DOLLARS.

I am writing it today:

Should I convert the funds to today's rate into CANADIAN DOLLARS

or

Should I write it in US DOLLARS?

Thanks in advance

I just wanted to add that VO asked for several months bank statements from my bank account. They are obviously in US DOLLARS. That's the reason of my question.

A 6-months a/c statement showing sufficient funds in the current balance in ur account, is what is needed to be shown.

The same are calculated in CAD by converting, as stated by explorer.
Cheers!

Thanks, I just have one last concern:

My VO is Detroit. I have to pay the Right of Permanent Residence FEE.

I just got my draft payable to "Receiver General for Canada - Detroit" (I saw this at the VO website)

HOWEVER, in the letter I received it says payable to "Canadian Consulate General"

I believe I make a mistake.

What should I do? Should I go to the bank and change the payable name? or is it ok payable to "Receiver General for Canada - Detroit"??

Please urgent help (seniors if possible)

Thanks
