Hi can someone knowledgeable on these topics please assist as theres no direct answers for this on the site and I dont want to get myself into any trouble when I am in Quebec. I just learnt that I need a CAQ which I thought I was exempt for quebec and my flight goes in 3 days:
1) do i have to have a return ticket by flight to london if I am a British Citizen from the UK or can i just have an onward train journey to new york to
satisfy immigration ?
2) i am still waiting for my caq (certificate of acceptance from quebec). i have my LMO. lady at immigration advised to visit montreal on visitor
permit and then get my work visa at port of entry once i get my caq. is this okay and legal
3) can i come on a tourist visa with my dog as i will have to leave him with my friend since i cannot take him all the way back to the uk if i have to go back for a month or so ?
4) is it ok for me to rent a room while i am there on a tourist visa once i leave new york if i still havent recieved
my work visa while i am waiting on my caq to arrive bearing in mind i am still on a tourist visa?
