CIC have notified that they will be sending passport back with visa shortly to our representative,our representative have told us that he will be away by the timepassport returns back and he will be back by next year a day our medical will be expiring please what are the options for us as we need our passport before that to avoid visa expiring,

1. Can you request to pick up the passports at the consulate before they are mailed to your representative?

2. Can you have a notarized letter from your representative authorizing you to receive the package?

These are just ideas, I am sure Qorax and the other seniors might have better ones.

1. If u had sent the pps by mail/courier alongwith the returning envelope -- your pps will ONLY take that route for return.
2. Your consultant is acting funny. He has no right to delay your pps return, u could sue him/her.
3. No worthwhile consultant will have his/her office closed while he/she is away - their should be some mechanism to get going.
4. Send your VO a letter explaining/complaining the same & submit another 'returning' envelope with your address.

your lawer's firm dosen't have a right to close their office for one month! if they are the official member of immigration consultants , you can defenitely sue them.

Which country is this in? Do they have mail forwarding? In the US you can forward your mail to a different address temporarily.
Maybe you can even tell him to forward all his mail to you for the month and that you'll take care of it and give it to him when he gets back.
