Update request after the medicals

Dear senior members:

After two years of doing the medicals CHC London sent me a letter asking for an updated PCC, IMM008, IMM5669E and photographs. My questions are:
1-Does this mean that my background check has finalized and they will not do it after the second medical?
2-After I send the updates, what time it will take to send me the request of second medical and passports?

Probably a quick update on the background checks, 3/4 months then they will send out the medical, if your application is approved.

Hi:

As far as I know, my application must have been approved as they sent my medicals in the first time. Am I right?
I applied in 2006, updated in Dec 2008 and done the medicals in Aug 2009.
