Update letter and points

I applied in 2006, I recieved an email asking for an update letter recently

lets suppose I had 2 years work experience at that time 2006.. now it is 6 years experience in 2010,,

in the point system will they give me 2 years experience points as my original application was in 2006. or the maximum points as it is now...

please advise me

they will give you points for work exp under the rules you applied.. which is 2006....

update is for their sake i mean your point wont be changed it will remain the same.

you just need to send them correct update.
