I'am a live in caregiver and will submit my PR application this july coz i completed my 24 months but i can't get police clearance in dubai coz my employer filed an absconding case againts i leave dubai as soon as my passport was stamp for working visa in canadian embassy in abu dhabi due to my fear to my abusive employer who used to keep our passport in their possession i decide to leave the company and work in canada.I was shock because when my cousin whom i authorized to get my pcc there was told by the police that they can't issue me police clearance coz the system was locked and advised her to go to dubai immigration the officer there give a piece of paper stating that my employer reported me absconding they advise her that i should talk to my employer to lift the ban so that my name will be clear they (officer)say that for them its nothing it only with my employer so i try to contact and email my  but she don't want to cooperate so have nothing to do.I told the cic canada about my situation and the agent told me that i should write a letter stating why i can get pcc in dubai.
1.what will be my chances if i submit a written statement would it be enough? is there anyone done this and the visa officer accepted it?
2.will it affect my PR application in to the extent that my PR will be refuse?
3.Is an absconding case outside canada a ground for criminal inadmissibility?
4.What should i have to do before i finally submitted my papers?

PLEASE ANYONE WHO EXPERIENCE/EXPERIENCED THIS SITUATION HELP ME and THOSE WHO HAVE KNOWLEDGE WITH REGARDS TO MY CONCERN I WILL REALLY APPREACIATE YOUR CONCERN

thaks a lot and i will wait for anyones reply please help me

Hi,
Could you please tell me the procedure to get PCC from Dubai. I lived there 2006-2007 and now in KSA. How to get PCC if you are not in Duabi anymore?

Thanks in advance.

hi there...
i have da same problem so i looked in the cic website.
it says clearly that u have to send a written letter explaining why u cant get a pcc.
the best thing i would advise is contact a lawyer and he will wright u the letter addressed to the immigration demonstrating why u cant get ur pcc.
thats what i will do.
its all a matter of luck
wish u dat \.
keep in touch
bye

Dear ynnoh18

Hi! I want to ask what happen to your application does visa officer grant you temporary work permit? I have the same situation as yours, and I am going to submit my application this coming December 20, 2011 and I just make and explanation letter from the attorney about my case that my employer file me absconding case in Dubai UAE while I am outside UAE. Hope to hear from you.
