A bit of a story first so it is clear -

My application was send via DHL on 11th Aug who lost track of the package on 12th Aug - It simply disappeared from the face of the earth and they apologised, said they will try to find what went wrong etc - this was the update earlier today morning after 6 days of handing in the application.

I have just been informed that they made a mistake & the application went globe trekking - to Germany and now in Canada after they tried to locate the shipment with the warehouse team. It seems it was incorrectly send along with another order supposed to reach Germany and was not scanned inspite of going through several countries. I keep hearing that it is a one-off situation as they have never experienced this before but I see this as an opportunity that I might have lost due to the cap closing in - it was supposed to be delivered on 15th Aug and is expected to reach tomorrow.

They have been supportive throughout and agreed that DHL is taking responsibility of the entire situation - also have agreed to email CIC to inform them of the series of events that led to the delay in delivering the shipment .

Please could you let me know if this email will be reciprocated by the authorities or if there is anything else that I can do due to this unforseen situation?

Many thanks

this is unfortunate on ur part and very cruel on dhl part.....  but cic will not entertain anything like that.. its just sheer bad luck nothing else..

Thanks for the positive post. I hope so too - fingers and toes crossed X Smiley

@  hey_rigky - Agree completely. I will have to wait for the outcome - so many posts in this forum which inclines , 1122 was capped in the first week of July so I choose not to comment as I think its good to stay positive.

O my O my! DHL again! This same courier company mixed up my spouse's transcript and delayed her professional certification by about 4 months. In the meantime, she lost several job opportunities.

I do pray you get in before the cap closes. NOC 1122 is a really dicey one.

Please keep us posted. Best of luck.

Well Sanity,
As far transcripts and additional experience is concerned wont be hot issues for NER at this stage.
1st PER will be based on completeness check i.e. payment (BD/CC), completely n properly filled forms and NOC with right job description.
Rest of the documents will be reviewed by your VO and the missing docs will be demanded for full review before giving 2nd PER.
so if your 1st application made in the CAP then have a good hope.
