hi all,, I recieved unexpected letter from the city I intended to reside in Canada, this letter says "we recieved a list of names from CIC and your name was in the list", have you recieved the same thing?  |

I applied as a skilled worker as a network admin, and the letter as I first said from Canada directly to me not through CIC....What does that mean? |

we understood that the letter is not from CIC...
you might need to tell the source e-mail id...
and what the content is regarding...
the blind guess would be that it is some marketing / advertisement e-mail...
You might have put in your details in some forum, and some one might have used this information to e-mail you...

CIC usually has strict policy on keeping the applicant's confidentiality. So 99 per cent it is a marketing spam mail. It would be helpful if you could kindly disclose the contents of the mail, may be heplful if we receive the same type of mail. Thank you |
