Hi

Can someone please tell me if a motor vehicle valuation report on a vehicle that is fully paid for be used as unencumbered funds? The universal reuirement is that each applicant has to show CA$10,000 of "unencumbered" funds for the final stages of permanent residency processing. Therefore, I would like to know if that valuation report (if the vehicle values CA$10,000 or more) can be used instead of a bank statment etc.

In addition, can that same valuation report (valuing less than CA$10,000) be used in conjunction with cash to fullfil that CA$10,000 requirement?

All your comments and thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks a bunch!!
