Hi forum,

I am sponsoring my spouse for PR.

I am working with a company that pays me cash + i have a % of partnership with same company.

I started working this year like a few weeks ago with them. ( Started in Mid June )

I was thinking the best thing to do was to just get a letter from my employer stating that i work with them, + about my share in the company.  ( on a company letter Head paper )

what exactly should i include in my Letter head, any tips on how to prepare.

should it be addressed to Canada Immigration? ( my employee letter head )

tx guys

your thoughts pls,

much apprecitated.

You need a letter from your employer stating when you went to work for them, your position and how much you make.  Look at your document checklist for more information.

This part isn't as vital as some of the others. You don't need to meet a minimum income requirement to sponsor your spouse, so really all you need to do is show you're not bankrupt or on social assistance. However you put the letter together, I'm sure it will be fine.

My friend, she sponsored her husband also who was living in a foreign country...

she was unemployed, the Embassy got back to her case stating:   "YOU ARE UNEMPLOYED, HOW WILL YOU SUPPORT YOUR HUSBAND WHEN HE ARRIVES"  SHE THEN HAD TO WORK FOR 1 YEAR to have enough income ready... her case was delayed over a year because she was unemployed.

this is a true story of a personal friend who works with me..

so is this really true that when sponsoring a spouse u dont need to be employed?HuhHuh?  i am lost ppl
