Hi,

What if we cannot obtain an affidavit from the person who translated the documents. Is it okay if we get the affidavit from a lawyer/notary public to stating that the translations are ok.

Thanks in advacne

You dont need an affidavit from the person who translated your documents that person will put his stamp on it and it will be fine, i dont know if they do it differently in your country but normally those person who are authorised to do the translations they have there on stamp which shows translation is done by an authorised person.

Thanks for your reply. I have it stamped by the Law books management board. I will be getting these stamped by ministry of foreign affairs as typically in my country crucial documents are attested by the ministry.
