Hi.

CHC London can ask for updated documents at any time - however, it's most common to ask for updated PCC at the same time as medicals + RPRF.

With our medical requests from CHC London there was a checklist and as well as medicals they asked for RPRF, updated UK PCCs and updated Schedule 1 declarations.

If your last PCCs were from Dec 2009 then there is no way they can finalise your application without updated PCCs, since the PCCs are only valid for 12 months. But I am very surprised they haven't asked for these with medical requests?

Perhaps it was overlooked, I am sure they will ask before finalising your application so it would be wise to think about getting updated PCCs now.

Best of luck.

They have not asked so you do not need to worry about.

They may ask later but I don't think so,

Urgent is available only in 2 days and normal in 10 working days, it is not a long time,
keep a track of your e-cas, and even if they ask it won't be a problem to get the latest one.

You are almost done.

Congratulations and all the best.

But i have read in this forum, some applicants got ppr without being asked for updated uk pcc. they got visas after 15-16 months docs submission.
If pcc is valid for 12 months then y they asked you to do so coz u submitted docs in august 2010- not a year yet.

Hi Raafia,

Yes indeed the PCCs we sent with our initial application are still valid, but only until 16th July.

Now, 60 days from our medical requests to get RPRF and documents to them = around 13th June. Perhaps they felt that if we took the longest time possible to get everything to them, that just 30 days was not long enough to finalise the application, and that it would be cutting it a bit close?

Or perhaps with the mixup of post-June-26 and CIO changing the rules twice on whether or not to include PCCs, they just have a policy of asking everyone for updated PCCs prior to finalising the application?

Just guesswork really! Smiley

Well it sounds like some people have got visas without the updated PCCs (which I find strange, but there you are).

Not asking for them may have been an oversight on their part and they may write again and ask for the PCCs.

I think it largely depends on how long you think it will take to get? If it's just a few weeks, then I'd wait and see if they ask for them. If it's going to stretch into months, then it may be wise to order new PCCs now anyway.

Hi Guys,

Me too. I was not asked for updated PCC. The UK PCC that I submitted with full docs were dated Nov-2009. I got "medical request + RPRF" on 04-Apr-2011 and they did not ask for PCC again. Would they ask for it now?

Those who have received PPR - would you please let us know if you were asked or "not asked" for updated PCC? Thanks.

I personally cannot see how they can finalise an application with an expired PCC. But at the same time, I am surprised they did not ask for it when they sent medical requests. So no idea really Smiley

If getting new PCCs isn't too costly it's probably worth getting them anyway, since I am sure unless there is a massive oversight that they cannot finalise the visa without it.
