Hi guys,

Has anyone recently applied for a UK Police Certificate and currently lives outside the UK ? How long must I wait ? I applied about 3 weeks ago.

dear SimpleSimon,
it ttakes only 10 days for standard service & 2 days for premium service & this is according to theor website. however, if u r living outside uk, it will take longer. this means once they receive ur application they will post the PCC to u at the 10th day but it depends on the post for the speed of the delivery.

10 working days; i got mine in 12 or 13th working day so in ur case it will take more time as u live outside uk;espect in atleast 16 to 17th working day

For standared service it is 10 working days. For premium service it is 2 working days. You should deduct the time period for postal services and for payment processing by ACRO.

i got mine in 12 to 13 days.but there is a premier service which takes only 2 days excluding recieved and despatch dates.
