I have a 1st class degree in Business Information Management from a UK university and have been working as a Marketing Assistant in an English Law Firm for the past 14 months. My boyfriend and I are looking to immigrate to Canada. He is an Electrician with 10 years work experience.

Anyone on here moved to Canada from the UK? I would appreciate your tips and how you managed to make the move. I have started my research but it is a lot to take in so would like some practical advice.

Thanks!

Kelly try calculating points for skilled worker with your other half as the main person applying and with you as the common law partner

He is the only one eligble for the main candidate as a skilled worker as I dont believe a marketing assistant is in the 38 listed occupations

Take the test based on the above here
