UCI = unique client identification

this is the number that will help you to check your application online. Cool

. If this is your first application with CIC you will not have a UCI or a Client ID. Therefore leave the UCI column blank.
 If your any immigration application was previously rejected or withdrawn,  Indicate your Universal Client Identification number (UCI) or Client Identification number (Client ID), if known (8-digit number).
