Hi All,
Iam in a typical situation.I had applied for PR last year in the month of Feb 2009 and i got rejected in march 2009 stating that i didnt meet their job codes.Iam working as TeamLeader in a software company in india.I put my job code as Software Engineer(TL) and their required job code was Manager which didnt match and they rejected my PR.
Now iam planning to apply for study visa in CANADA.Iam worried if i would get visa this time or not??
anyone who knows solution/suggestion for this problem, please reply me asap....
thanks and regards

Hi,
It is likely that you'll get a negative response such as: "You have not satisfied me that you will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for your stay because: ... ".
It will be clear for the officer that you want to work and settle there as you've already applied for PR (that has been rejected). Anyway a good statement of purpose might help. Give it a go and let us know the outcome:)
Best of luck!
cheers.

Well, I can't say its a solution .... but if ur going for a study permit, (and that ur a genuine case) then an admission letter from a well known university will help your cause.
Becaue I've seen people taking admissions in colleges/schools just so that they can apply for a study permit and somehow get to canada. An admission at a well known uni will show that ur serious about ur studies and ur sole intention is to go there and study.
If possible, you may even want to pay ur first term fees for that matter to show a stronger case. But then, make sure the uni will give u ur fees back if CHC does not issue u a visa. So thats a bit risky.
This is my opinion ..... best of luck.

Each rejected visa will decrease your chances I'm afraid.
