Hi, not sure what I'm hoping for in terms of advice, but here's my situation:

Was on a work/study permit, awaiting an LMO from an employer I have been working for on that program. Filed for visitor status before work permit expired (Jan 1), +ve LMO arrived jan 16. Now I have to flagpole to get work permit. My only problem is, I've been in Canada pretty much continuously (always legally) for the last 4 years, and I'm worried I'll get put through the ringer at the border. Anyone been through this and have any advice? All my family lives back home (UK), but other than that I have no real 'proof of ties'. I'm so stressed about the very thought of going to the border. urgh.

Any input greatly appreciated.
