Hi All,

I got a job offer with a Employer in Vancouver Canada on 21 october 2011.
They helped me in applying for TWP under Intra Company Tranfer but the same application was rejected on 15 November 2011.
Visa officer said i needed a LMO.

My attorney is following up with the Visa officer to re-open the case for the past 4 weeks.
What are the chances of a case being re-opened?
I am asking since there is a communication going on for 4 weeks. Does it mean i have some chances?

In the meantime, my employer will apply for LMO on 20 December 2011.
This would mean 10 weeks of LMO + 8 weeks for TWP.
I am looking at May 2012 at the best case.
I am in IT field.
Is there any chance that my LMO application can be expedited?
Because my attorney has asked for some documentation from my employer to prove that i need to be in canada by jan 2012?

I am unable to focus on my current job because of this delay. Sad
Hoping for some good advice.

Thanks and Regards

I don't think there is any chance your application will be approved as an intercompany transfer. To be approved under this category, you must be working for the company at the time when you are transferred. (If I remember correctly, the company you want to work for in Canada is a company you worked for previously but aren't working for now.)

You'll need to re-apply once the LMO has been approved.

Hi Scylla,

My case has been re-opened.
My attorney says the High Commision in New Delhi will contact me for Medical Forms.
Since christmas holidays are round the corner, how much time will it take for the visa to come assuming i get the medical forms this week?

Thanks and Regards
