I have two questions re: AINP nominee (or maybe other Prov Nominees as well):

1. I am an AINP nominee (semi-skilled in level C) in Alberta. Can my wife apply for open work permit? I hear AINP nominees' spouse are eligible even if the AINP nomination was for C or D.

2. Once you are a provincial nominee, are you still subject to the four year work permit limit that started earlier this year?

Thank you in advance,
K

1.  Yes
2.  Yes - you know your AINP approval has an expiry date on it.  You must apply for PR before that date.  The 4 year time limit starts as of April 2011.  All work done before that time on a TWP does not count towards the 4 year maximum.
