Hello

is there any problem to file two applications for Permanent Residency in parallel ? I plan to go the Sponsorship route with my Canadian wife but also would like to use the Skilled Worker Program with a permanent job contract.

Is that allowed or will there be any issues ?

Thx,

If you go through Berlin the family class sponsorship is bound to be far shorter but I'm not sure about the 2 apps.

My first question would be WHY?  But anyway, you can have both in process at the same time.  When a positive decision is reached on one, you must withdraw the other.

Thx guys. The main reason is to receive the PR asap and if one application gets rejected the other one continues to run and no time is wasted.  Grin
