Hi guys, has anybody applied under FSW also submitted another application under CEC? I am wondering if it is a good practice to submit two applications at the same time, i.e., one under CEC and one under FSW. Is there any negative impact?

I think I am eligible for the FSW PhD stream so I will apply for this one. Also although not entirely sure, there is a possibility I am eligible for CEC as well, depending on if my RA and TA experiences are recognized as valid working experiences in CEC. Since CEC can be very fast now, I am considering if I should submit a CEC application as well.

If you have this experience can you please kindly share your experience or thoughts. Thank you.

It is not forbidden to apply simultaneously with two different streams of Economic Class immigration.
You need to pay the processing fee for both streams separately.

Thank you Wilson for the reply. I am wondering if there is any negative impact if I apply both.

I guess probably somebody here has applied both. I am not sure if the two applications will have impact on each other.

Can anybody please help clarify? Thank you.
