Hi,

I am about to start my TRV application and planning to give interview inperson at Buffalo office. Do they have inperson interview? I am open to show up and get the TRV visa soon. is it feasibile?

I have the form  IMM5257E  filled. Have the necessary documents
1. Client invitation letter
2. Employer Letter for proof of Employment and request letter to Consulate canada.
3. photocopy of passport with valid h1 VISA.
4. Banks statements and paystubs

I need answers for the following:

1. How the payment should be? a Cashier check?
2. Is there any appointment required to do inperson visit to Canada consulate at Buffalo?
3. Will the process the VISA if accepted in the same day?

Thanks

You also need the actual passport and your I-94.

Is it mandatory to have I797 petition?, since I have the valid VISA stamped in the passport.

Thanks for your response.

Sure. I will be taking my passport and I94 with me. My question is, will they provide the Visitor visa in the same day? so that I can stay a day in Buffalo and catch the flight to the city I suppose to visit.

Thanks,

In the old days when CIC did not have these new systems and enhancements, you can go in the morning (some visa offices) and you'll be able to go home with your visa in the afternoon. I am not aware if it's back in place again. Check the site of the consular office you're planning to apply to.

Thanks for your response.
