hi folks,,i just have quick question...is that mandatory to get our visa extended from buffalo or we can get it extended from ottawa too,,,,, i am currently on three years of work permit after graduation,,,,thanks,,

There is a provision by CIC for renewing the TRVs online.

No, that link is not for TRVs it is for visitor/study/work. TRVs have to be applied for at an overseas office. The OP has to apply to one of the Canadian offices in the US or in his/her home country.

hi all, this conversation is quite confusing!!! i wanna help, so jagga, what are you trying to apply? TRV? or extension of work permit? if you are applying for TRV, im assuming that you're visa is already expired and you are going out of Canada for holiday and come back after your vacation, coz you can only apply for TRV outside canada just like pmm said. now, if you want to apply for extension of work permit, you can do it here in canada, actually in vegreville. but still you've got lots of paper works to do for this!

actually i want to apply for TRV that we need to enter in Canada,,,,my visa is expiring on march 2011, so i already got 3 yr work permit,,so just want to extend visa as i am planning a visit to my home country in feb or march...

hi. ok now i get it. you can actually apply for TRV in any visa office in the US. i just submitted a TRV application for a friend to SEATTLE. you can submit it also to buffalo or any VO in the US. just visit their website for the requirements.
