Hello everyone, I am applying from within the United States, and I dont have status here, due to an appeals process. I am applying to go visit my husband in Canada, as a visitor. The Canadian embassy in LA has sent me an email after receiving my application, and are asking me to provide proof of RE-ENTRY into the United States. I have clearly mentioned in my letter of invitation that I will not be granted entry, therefore I will be returning to my native country of Pakistan. They once again replied and asked me proof of re-entry into U.S. I have tried explaining them in every which way that I WILL BE RETURNING to PAKISTAN. I am once again writing them that I cannot be permitted back into the U.S once I leave and I would like to know if there is anything else I can do Huh?

I have 5 days to respond back to there email, otherwise they will base their conclusion on whatever they have in front of them. HELP HELP HELP!

Dear MHa919

I know of a person who had an appeal process in USA and had travelled from USA to PAKISTAN and then back to USA with the help of that above mentioned permit / letter from US Imigration authorities.

If your process is in some sort of Appeal / Petition / Hearing then I guess you can Get a returning permit from USA to CANADA and then Back to USA - You Definitely need to consult some good Lawyer. I bet you can also do that and remain inside the Legal Desicion of your process (whatever).

Hope it will help.

Always Hopeful

I wish that worked for me. I dont think it will. It still doesnt guarantee you to re-enter. I mean if Canada will approve that then thats fine, but its costly.

maybe you just need to send them a copy of your return ticket to Pakistan with explanation? it can work.
