Hi people ...

I have applied for TRV cpl wks bk and it got rejected with the reason that they are not satisfied with my previous travel history. I applied for second time within 1 wk mentioning in the covering letter that i have not travelled outside the country since i received my passport and also attached my onward n return ticket. Again it got rejected with the reason that the officer is not satisfied that i'll return to my home country after my tour period.

I received invitation letter from my cousin(canadian citizen) and submitted the same for TRV.

I am getting married on 21stApril2010 to a Canadian PR. He is planning to apply PR to me via outland during May2010.   Now i need to know whether this creates any problem with my PR sponsorship or delay in PR processing??

Hi,

As per my knowledge the rejection of your TRVs were not based on any criminal records on you. Therefore, sponsorship application may be approved once you will be eligible for that.

The visa officers are suspicious of rejected TRV applications, and will check the files. If you applied to go visit your boyfriend, fine. But if the applicant has a long history of trying to get into Canada, a marriage to a Canadian is going to look like a marriage of convenience.

Is this applying to Canada only?  My husband has had 3 TRVs rejected; one to Switzerland (he has family there he wanted to visit), one was a TRANSIT visa through London (on our way to Bahamas to get married, which obviously didn't happen), and one to Canada (work and travel visa) for an ESL study course.

I've been a little worried about this subject myself.

Hey Chintu,
dude if u r Indian guy and if u apply TRV in India Or new Delhi CIC  then just would like to say that they make this reason with every one same reason they gave me that i don't have travel history........ even i don't have any criminal record....

so i just want to say they hardly give you TRV if they know u have any relative or spouse there coz they almost sure that u will be not come back ... understood??

They don't believe you will return to your home country because of your relationship with your BF.  This is a "normal" refusal - it should not affect processing of your PR application.  You'll have to disclose it on the application - be honest, they see it all the time.  As long as you have plenty of proofs of your "genuine" relationship, you shouldn't have to worry that it will be seen as a marriage of convenience to get into Canada simply because you applied a couple of times for a TRV and got refused.

They check your passport for refusals - there will be a stamp somewhere, and they also ask about it in the application. Your husband's are easy to explain and shouldn't be a problem.
