My parents are applying for a visit visa, they will send their applications to CHC-Islamabad on July 1, 2011. I will let you guys know how it goes...

 @ saleem22: Do not worry about Canada post strike, if you want to send an invitation letter to your family then I would suggest that you write a letter, take a print out, sign on it and then scan and email it to your family... Invitation letter from the sponsor does not have to be original, it can be a photocopy only. However, if visa officer has some issues regarding the  invitation letter then he would ask your family to provide the original invitation letter.

one of my friend visa got denied... reason given..no strong ties to home

Yet no news from CHC, Islamabad about our visa applicatons...

56 calendar days will complete on 14 July 2011 &
56 working days will complete on 5 August 2011

People who applied in the month of May...perhaps will get hear from CHC, Islamabad in August second week... Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad

Today i called Gerry's Fedex to inquire about current Canada TRV processing time...

I was shocked when they told me that CHC, Islamabad taking beyond 3 months to process TRV applications..

Currently...Fedex is calling April TRV applicants
