I have a post grad work permit that is vaild till may 30, 2010
My student visa is Valid till Sept 1, 2009
I am currently unemployed but I will be starting a new job soon, I want to stay an work in canada what should I do with regards to extending my work permit/visa etc.?

You are going to have to find a job that the employer is willing to get an LMO if you wish to continue working after your PG WP expires.
