TRV in person at Canadian consulate at Washington DC

Hi All,

I am wondering if anybody was able to get TRV from canadian consulate in DC by applyiing in person. I am aware that website says to apply by mail but my problem is I need to get to CAnada in last week of July. If you are are able to apply in person, did you get visa same day or is there any delay in getting visa.

I found out that they no longer offer same-day service.
When did you get yours?

Also do you know any other office that offer same-day service?

Website says apply by mail,that's right. Apply in person, if you want to go this month.You will get your visa same day or most probably next day. Normally, Embassy and Consulate really don't like everybody rushing to their offices for Visa. I got it same day.
