Hello,

I'm planning to visit my boyfriend (immigrant) in ON, Canada and I am to apply a TRV this year but i'm kinda scared of getting denied. Do you have any tips? I am 22 years old and is currently working at IBM for almost 2 years. The plan is to visit him next year (just for a week or two) but I just want to get things done so I can re-apply if ever I'm denied. I'll be staying at their place so no need for hotel funds.

How much money should I need to have (in my bank account) to get my visa approved? Should I mention that he's going to pay for the ticket or would that complicate things? What do i need to do/ show to get an approval?

I have LOTs of questions. Any help is really appreciated Smiley

Show as much "ties" with the Philippines as you can. It's good you have a job and with a reputable company to boot. Hope you hold a responsible position there because you're quite young. It's okay that he's paying for the fare and board and lodging but you should also show you have enough so as not to be too much of a burden on your host.
