My mother applied for a TRV and she was denied.  We totally did not understand what the reason behind it.  I consulted a Member of Parliament rep about the situation and she too was surprised my mother wasn't been approved.

My mother has an existing US Visa with multiple entry.  She is a well travelled person.  She has gone to the whole Europe, Asia, and the US.  She has money in the bank that is more than what is being asked from her.

The weakest link that I can see from her application is our financial status during her application.  But the MP said that it's the person applying that needs a good credentials.

My question is, will our new upgraded jobs helped her in being approved for TRV?

This will be our last chance to apply her for TRV.  If she will be denied, we have to go with the sponsorship route.

Thanks in advance for all who will reply.

Your best chance is to sponsor her.

That's the thing.  I know I will be approved to sponsor my mother but with the long process, she'll be 75 by then.  If only the immigration defines clearly the requirements for TRV, then many of us can enjoy our families in Canada.  Having family values brought in, less violence on the street of Canada.
