TRV for a parent to bring the kids

Hello,
I need consultation-advice on the following situation. Both my kids and I had our PR application approved and being already in Canada I made landing. I am late in my pregnancy and cannot travel by transcontinental flight to get my kids from their country of origin. The single entry visa for kids will expire when a newborn child will be just a few weeks old. That makes it impossible for me to travel and get the kids to Canada.
The question is: will it be possible for my Mother to apply for a visitor's visa to bring kids to Canada? What are the chances for her to have it granted?
We just cannot let kids' immigrant visas to expire.

There is possibility that she'll be granted a single entry visitor visa. I know somebody personally who was granted single entry visa from her country of origin to bring three orphaned kids to their only surviving relative in Canada. Although there are paperwork that you need to do seeing it is not a parent bringing them out of the country. I am just not aware if your country (Austria, is it?) have the same controls in place.

I think more supporting documents would help rather than hinder your request. A letter from you explaining your situation and how important it is for the kids to land in Canada before the expiry of their visa would help too.

This might pose a problem if she did not have enough ties. But an honest sincere letter explaining that your mother is bringing your children over and that she would not overstay her allowed visit if granted should help. There was another post similar to yours, where the mother is alone, retired but was allowed for a visit. Will try to find it.

The officers are humans too and they know when you're trying to cheat the system or not. In your case you need somebody you can trust to bring your children to Canada. BTW how old are your children?

thank you for your reply, job_seeker. it brings some hope into my heart. my son will be turning 9 soon, daughter is 4 years old.
