I will be landing next month but I need to travel before the arrival of my PR card . I have a re-entry Visa .

Do I need employment letter when I'm coming back to Canada with my TRV ?
Will the officer at the POE see me as a TFW or as  PR ?

You may need a Travel Document instead, it costs $50. I had to travel out also 10 days after landing and had to get a travel document so that I could get back in. However, I know someone that used their landing paper (IM5252 i think) but they travelled by land. I travelled by plane.
So I dont know what the correct procedure is... but that is my experience.  Huh

This is serious ! So once I become PR , my TRV becomes useless and it can not take me back to Canada ? I thought as much . Thanks Mimina .

Hi Monalizy, The TRV is temporary resident Visa. Up on getting PR visa the TRV is void.
As Mimina said correct except use of copy of COPR. Perhaps if you enter by road from USA bpoarder, you may be allowed with that paper but not always.

If you wish to travel out of Canada, before getting your PR Card,  you have to obtain a P R travel document from Canadian embassy at the country where you are. When you re-enter you are considered as a PR and no need of employment proof.
