Could pls someone help to answer my question:
My PR card was expired hence I applied for PR card renewal and now is approved, the problem is currently I am not in Canada but left for home country when PR card was in process because I have to finish my work & business there. Understand I have to apply for travelling documents to return Canada, unfortunately to this date I spent time in Canada is a little bit less than 730 days, say 710 days. My wife and daughter are living in Canada and both are Canadian citizen, we have our own house there and my wife is working, and daughter is studying. My question is whether the visa office will approve my travelling documents application as to this date i don't meet residency obligation in past 5 years even though my PR card is ready to pick up? Thanks.

Was your wife ever living abroad with you? Any time spent living with your Canadian citizen spouse abroad counts toward the residency requirement.
